I’m a lifestyle family photographer, capturing the special moments of your family which disappear as the years go by. I cover all stages, from those precious newborn moments, right up to big kids - get a shoot booked in before it’s no longer cool to be photographed with their family!

Family photos tend to consist of selfies, posed standing shots with everyone looking at the camera, or the awkwardly posed, clinical white studio shots, but that’s not family life. What about all of those special intimate moments, the moments which may seem mundane but are actually the story of your family life. Cuddles on the sofa, laughs during mealtimes, fun during bath times and snuggles during bed time. I believe that it’s these relaxed, natural and candid moments which should be captured as they show you as a family, raw and real. They tell a story, your story, and are a lot more powerful and meaningful than the awkward “stand up straight and smile at the camera” photos.

Here's a little bit about me...

I just love love - in every shape and form. I also love to laugh, gentle laughs, belly laughs, crying laughs. I love to dance, I do so at every opportunity, even if it's from the sofa to the kitchen. I enjoy long walks, or short walks, just walks in general - I walk everywhere unless the distance or task requires a car. I love the countryside and nature as a whole, it makes me all fuzzy inside - we're surrounded by wheat fields and nothing beats the sound of the wind rustling through the crop or the beauty of the woods and the rolling fields. I love animals, all animals, their warm hearts warms mine. I love intimate meals with friends, long chats and lots of laughs. I love food, good food and a lot of it. I love jazz, there's nothing like the voice of an old soul and the sound of a sax to warm my bones. I love to sing, very very badly, I turn everything into a jingle or a song if the words are similar to song lyrics. I love a good long hug. I love my beautiful children Reginald and Dorothy, they are the sweetest little souls, I truly feel so blessed every day to be their Mama. They are so funny, caring and kind and fill my heart with such joy and love. My partner Louis, he's a bit of a comedian and makes me laugh pretty much all of the time, whether he's trying to or not. The dancing, he loves it nearly as much as me, the kitchen is our usual go to but we've also been known to pull some killer moves like jagger when given a dance floor. Oh and the food, he's a mean cook and I'm spoilt with 5 star food many nights a week. I love our adorable pooches, Bobby and Forrest. I love how boisterous they are when they play, they've both found a forever friend. I love how beautiful it is to watch Forrest's trust in humans grow, he's a damaged rescued soul but is slowly getting there. I love my wonderful family and friends more than they'll ever know, they're my favourite people.

The last photo (above) was one of the first photos I ever took using an old Canon AV-1 film camera, given to me by my Dad. It was this image which made me fall in love with photography. I studied it at A-Level and then went on to The University of East London followed by Manchester Metropolitan where I gained a Ba(Hons). I now live in Essex with Louis, Reginald, Bobby and Forrest.
